Author: trendannoyer (dyn234-ras14.screaming.net) Date: 11-22-2000 05:10 I've tried putting a CD in my PC and that works OK but am having 'SOME' trouble getting my 420stemfwQ ATARI to read it as it doesnt seem to fit into the drive, even though It is a 5.25 foot drive, although it will fit in my friends drive in front of their house ! have I got enough memory to read the shoe sector on the CD or shoeld I upgrade to a bigger proSTRESSor? IF i played the CD in a stereo and taped the buzzy noise on to tape converted this on to 8track cartridge then re sampled that onto wax cylinder put it through an anolough to distical converter and played it through the midi ports (which were an upgrade!) would I be any better offf? perhaps i need an ICI converter does anyone know if "Dupont' still do them????? I shall be trying to make my own midi leads out of old bits of barbedwire and milkbottle tops I shall let you know how I get on :^) PLEASE TAKE THIS IN THE SPIRIT INTENDED THANX
