My reason to get a ST and not an Amiga was simply that I got two PC-drives from the company mad dad's been working for... So Atari was much cheaper.
I don't know why people have so heavy feelings about Atari/Amiga. It's nice to see Amiga-people showing interest in Ataris and vice versa.
And all those people who are telling things like "amiga coprocessors don't help the cpu too much", blah, blah, blah.
Have a look at a DECENT Amiga 500 demo and see that this machine is capable of things that are impossible to do with an ST and extremely hard to do with a falcon.. Very impressive! High regards! I love Amiga demos!
