I know the developers of IS2, they used to publish their games under the Thalion brand. They are very cool people, I actually had a copy of IS3 (PSX) before release!

If the encryption key method for CD's exists, and they know about it. What with Infogrammes (formally Hasbro) making the Jaguar an open platform, they would release it. If you have to create the encryption key based on the contents of the CD (kinda like a CRC) just as you burn the disk, they will still have the tools.

Plus they would have a working knowledge of the patch between Cart, and CD.

Someone who REALLY is a Jag developer and is interested in this, contact me and we will continue this.
