There was a spate of games released by Hasbro with Atari brandings, but that seems to have slackened off now... They even sponsored some extreme spaorts type events with the Atari name (this is in Australia) but I think that was a one off.
I want to know what Hasbro payed for the Name and logo.
I think that the sort of niche described above would be a good one to pusue by an actual atari-computer-building/selling company. If they're not selling atari computers with said branding; they're not qualified to use the name, but there's nothing wrong with selling and promoting outside of the current atari scene. THere's lot's of profitable niches there to pursue if you know where to look, ie, musicians hardware/software, cheap reliable PC market (like the market for the Milan II), games market, etc.
