I think TOS 4 belongs to Milan and so far they don't seem to be co-operating
with Medusa on product development.
Personally I think they will both benefit from a more healthy Atari clone market.
Sales of Coldfire clones will not dent future sales of Milan III. By all accounts
the Milan III should be more powerful with the Coldfire filling the gap between
the Hades060 and the Milan III.
If the two companies were to share some technology then we will all benefit
from a more stable platform with better technology and greater compatibility.
It would also speed up development for both companies by saving them
from re-inventing the wheel. The Flash ROM is a good example of technology
that could be licenced from Milan.
