Well, I got the Jag working. Of all the power adapters at Radio Shack, I happened to pick up a defective one! I brought my Jag into the store yesterday (the sales clerk said "I haven't seen one of these in a while!") where they tested another Sega Genesis adapter on it and it worked.

My Jaguar happens to be a K series with a red light and doesn't hiss! The Joypads are B series.

Thanks for everyone's help.

I'm off to play Iron Solder!
