Depending on what OS it is running you should be able to hold down control
when it boots and bypass any extra system loading onto the machine.
This could get you out to the GEM desktop, but I'm not certain if Atari's
UNIX did this or not or really what OS it is running.

If it's MiNT or something along those lines the CONTROL key during boot should get past it.
