To clarify on what Dan has said:-

( This is for standard Atari's - all TOS Versions )

When you hold down CONTROL when it boots, you can avoid running any programs, that are in the AUTO FOLDER, and also the ACCessories too!

There will be a program in the AUTO Folder, that asks for the Password.

All you will need to do, is rename the .PRG Programs to PRX - maybe one by one, until you no longer get asked for the Password!
