I just have one thing to say about this.
The amiga still used (not by much admittly) in vidoe productions, especially the toaster. I always thougt the Atari computers were nothing but a cheap rip off of the Amiga and The Macintosh.
The New Amiga is planned to "hardware independent".
I don't hear this being suggested for the Atari.
I liked thier game systems, but I did not like thier computers.
Incidently many some of the original Amiga team people, espcailly Jay Minor, had worked at Atari. Jay Minor had helped design the Atari 2600 (AKA The VCS), and the Atari 400 and 800 computers. But this was before Jack Tramiel left Commodore and bought atari.
Oh, someone mentioned that Commodore stole the Amiga from Atari. Well that is not exactly true. Atari had loaned them money, and offered to by them, but didn't buy them. They came close, but Commodore offered them a better deal.
