Make sure that you are not trying to format them to 1.44Mb by mistake. Windows doesn't auto-detect the size so will try to format to 1.44Mb unless told otherwise. In <My Computer> highlight (but don't open) the A: drive, right-mouse click on the highlighted drive, choose <Format Floppy> from the menu that appears, then make sure you swap the 1.44Mb for 720kb and choose go...it's pitifully slow by the way.....I've used it on PC's with everything from Win3.1 through NT3.5, and 4, 95, 98 and now Win2000...

Dos formatted DD/DS disks these days? i 've tried every computershop in town..
so instead i took an empty DD disk and i tried to format it on
PC but it just won't do it....it answers : 'non valid support..'ect
so i'm stuck
if anybody can help in any way or give any sort of suggestion
