you can format PC 720k disks from dos by doing:-

format a: /n:9 /t:80 /u

its a bit of a mouthful. If you want send me a mail and I'll send you a batch file to do it for you, which you just have to click.

Its best not to use 1.44 disks as 720, they have a different magnetic coating and might not be very reliable.

Dos formatted DD/DS disks these days? i 've tried every computershop in town..

so instead i took an empty DD disk and i tried to format it on
PC but it just won't do it....it answers : 'non valid support..'ect

so i'm stuck
