Erm, actually, this one came about a short while ago, and yes, FalcAMP plays MP3 for Falcon, and guess what?
There are MP3 Players for the STE!
If you get hold of AniPlayer, it DOES play SOME ( Please note the SOME bit ) even on the STE
I dont know why it only plays some!
I have done some experimenting, with my Ataris ( ST,STE,TT and Milan ) and the only one that plays them all is the milan, so its obviously down to both memory, and power.
Some MP3s I have made, are even down to just a few K, but still some dont play, while I have one, that is 2.8MB and that plays on the STE!!!!
Yes, its 16Bit too!
So, I think what we need to do, is find out why this one plays, and pretty much all the others do not!

At nearly 3MB, I will probably make up a web site quickly so anyone can get it.
I will keep you posted - dont wait up though, cos I dont have any up/download software yet, so it will probably end up somewhere shit.
