Yes, I know the STE isnt too clever, in the old speed department, and no, it wont play 16Bit, and yes,m it knows the quality down to minus 25 probably.

I found 4 MP3 players on the net in my travels, and right about now, I really want to find where the hell I put them, because one of them WORKED!, and worked bloody well too!

I do not use Aniplayer, but I know its possibly the most popular, so thats why I mentioned it.

The MP3 I was talking about, is 2.8MB, and there is only 4MB in the STE, so with everything, I am left with marginally over 2MB ( Less when I load in Aniplayer ) so it cannot load the whole MP3 into RAM can it? - However, a fast enough HD could cure the buffering to give a flawless stream I suppose? The quality is of course lower than it normally is, but its still perfectly playable.

I am going to make it my mission now, to either find these players, either on the NET, or where the hell I put them, onto which HD, or CD, and on which Atari, or PC - I know I have it, and then we can see for once and for all, that the STE CAN play MP3's

I have tried to upload the actual MP3 in question to www.fatrakoon.20m.com but I am having trouble, and all there is there, is the shitty site that it gave me to start up with.

I am going to have another go in about half an hour, and I will put that MP3 onto there.

Maybe its some other kind of coding, that enabled this one to play, when others do not?

MP2? MP1? - Maybe its a bloody WAV after all, with the wrong extender?

Will keep you posted in all areas of this debate
