I've had the same thought myself - perhaps not TOS itself, but the GEM part, which is now open-source (heh heh), it's just begging to become a front-end for an embedded OS. I'm not sure I'd want to be able to run TOS programs on my cellular, I'd want to make phone calls with it (but I suppose I'd be doing it in style). TOS would make a good embeddedOS because it's compact and resource-light.I even converted my Compaq laptop with a touch screen into an ST-PAD with an emulator - it's the *coolest* way to run Calamus.
