Without modification, the largest partition possible with TOS 1.x is 256MB. Multiply by 14 partitions and you have a 3.5 GB limit. With TOS 2.x, the limit doubles.

2. A friend of mine is developing the IDE interface. Can I use it to access to a 2x IDE CDROM drive?
Yes. You will still need CD drivers.
