It is possible, at least if you satisdy with a scrolling view. And If you run scrolling+16 colours, it's even equal fast to normal TT-MED:
To make it 1280*960 in a scroll-view is rather simple in 16 colours, but TT-high is monochrome. To make 640*960 interlace and 16 colours is also rather simple.
However to make 1280*960 without scroll I'd say is so slow it can be considered not possible.
And to make it 1280*960 mono with scrolling is possible, but with serious slow-down (plain 1-plane screen into 4-plane one.. that's 150k st-ram -> st-ram copy each time the screen needs updating..).
