Thank's for your reply !
So, if OS development is splited into those two, Magic and Mint, what is the difference between the two ? And what is Geneva ?
If my memory is not so rotten, Magic was an Atari emulator on Mac, wasn't it ?
And Mint might be free, is it ?
Which one is the best solution for me to get a multitask environnement on my Mega-ste (4Mo) ?
(cheeper, bugproof, faster, smaller in memory,...)
I feel as well like for both of them I need to collect plainty of programs available in several places before they work properly. Like for internet connexion on Atari. I've read somewhere I would need something like CAB. But CAB is not a "full integrated program" and you need a "ppp protocol program" that itself needs ...
If it is the case for Mint and Magic, could I find a pack ?
Does those pack contain NAES last version ?
And I suppose I will be forced to switch between the original operating system and the new one depending on the program I want to run (eg games).
And what about hard drive ?
Is it a cheep solution to plug a 100Mo SCSI hard drive on the ACSI port ?
I find quite expensive all extention boxes that do so...
Thank's !
