Ok, dunno if you got the EMail, cos Outlook express just hung on me, so I will reply again here.
Right, I am using both DEVPAC3 and HiSoft Basic v2.10.
Obviously not on the same project, but still I want the same things done.
With HiSoft basic, I am simply rotating a cube, but I want to swap the screens to get a smoother animation. The Cube has textured sides, so under HiSoft basic, its a big job, and its looking good - No, it is more than fast enough in case you are wondering.
The DEVPAC stuff, is for virtual Screen routines I am working on, and its very intermittent ( Is that right? ) as to whether it works or not?
I am going via XBIOS in both, and using the same code as I always have, which is why I assumed the TT might be the same as the ST/FM when it kept doing this.
Ok, I did think the TT screens were 128k so I am wrong there, but it still crashes even if I give them 256K, so that is obviously down to me somewhere?
Ok, I will have a proper look at what is what, and compare with yours, to see what I am doing wrong.
One thing though I am thinking, is that my TT is not a very good one?
For one thing, I cannot run any TT only programs? - Such as TT screen savers and a few others, however, I can run stuff, that will not run on a TT????
