Are RLL Drives the same as MFM?
If so, then MFM drives are quite popular in old 286 and earlier machines!
And, just as a thought, I actually have a few MFM Drives ( 20 & 40MB ) and I know that it is possible to use 2 MFM Drives, so you are welcome to have them if you pay P&P.
Word of warning though
A friend of mine had the info to get 2 MFM Drives to read with each other, and it fried them both, but I did warn him that the wiring didnt look right, and he went ahead and did it... However, saying that, 40MB is better than 30 isnt it? - That if MFM will work on the MegaFile ( which is RLL ).
Anyone else care to add?
