Yeah, I know they are not the same...
I should have added that I was wondering if they are the same when it comes to being converted to each other, as in, if you get an MFM Drive, and an MFM to RLL adapter, then are you ok with it on the Megafile? and then are you ok if you added a couple of them together... etc.etc.etc
I ask this because some years back, in Uni, there was a whole box of these adapters, at least a dozen or so, so they do exist. and of course, going by this, and the idea of me having MFM drives, and so on... Do you see what I mean?
Maybe I was just thinking aloud perhaps, but there is logic in my madness.
At the end of the day though, it would be much more sensible to simply keep hold of the Megafile and keep it safely in the attic or something, and get an IDE or SCSI adapter wouldnt it?
I would think that a working Megafile might be worth a few bob in a few years time.
