I went the 'get your girlfriends' route :)...since my parents gave mine away...but I would say do the fleamarket thing. I got my second console (collecting) for 3 dollars...no power supply or joysticks, but I picked up extra joys for 2 dollars - and the power supply you can get from Radio shack for a few bucks.
