And you're wrong... Amiga is dying in just longer convulsions than Atari. Microsoft will succeed probably because of the media, a lot of software and market rules such as power of money backround.
I would rather Linux succeed for REAL - and he has biggest chances. The Kylix will open a big part of software engineering for Linux. There are a lot of things to move to this platform.
Today not the hardware is the most importatnt but the software. So there is a war between Windoze and Linux...
And what is the future - JAVA, Linux and Wide NetWorking...
The software market wants to sell not the best things, but to produce fast, easy, quite useful apps and to sell this things for a lot of money.
Forget about Amiga... Have fun with your old Atari as long as it is working for you.
