I just have the crappy System 6 that came with the spectre, and some PD mac stuff. I never bothered to get any more software for it, because I couldn't really be bothered downloading to PC floppy, putting it on my hard drive, writing it to a mac disc, and so on.
And what do youo mean, your TT is faster than mine? Have you got some kind of CPU upgrade that you haven't told me about? Or are you overclocking your TT? I don't care anyway, because mine can display 800x600 in 24-bit colour
PC or Mac software, doesn't matter as long as it's running on our Ataris, huh?
My spectre was about £35 from ebay around a year ago. I had to break the case to get the cartridge in my TT (the cartridge slot is fully inside the case, so any dongles and carts have to nest inside the case, which sucks for samplers and stuff but it works great with the GCR)
You could always try transferring stuff through serial ports. The Mac LocalTalk ports are mapped to the TT's serial ports, just run a terminal program at the emulated mac end and use the same program under vMac - should work...you'll need a null-modem cable, but which Atari owners don't have those from link-up games of Falcon, Stunt Car Racer and Populous?
