No, seriously, I think I am right in that! - I certainly found that AHDI may be slow, and poor, but it certainly runs anything I throw at it, but of course, HDDriver does it better, but then, this other guy needs to spend on a HD Adapter, and the last thing he needs, is to pay for Driver Software.
SCSITOOL I will admit, I dont like.It does NOT run my drives! - No, It does run one of them - The Quantum Maverick 540, but only on the TT, NOT the STE.
GESOFT reads them all, but has some problems that can end up with a wiped disk if he went to HD Driver
SDDRIVER is the fastest, and if you are only wanting to use 1 drive, and are not going to add another, then its great, but like I had, it was a turd when I moved to HD Driver.
AHDI read anything, maybe its slow yes, but so what? - It could be used with some weird formatted disks, and it was a god-send for me, otherwise, I would have had to either wipe my data ( NO WAY! ), or stay on SD-Driver, and of course, if I had stayed on SD-Driver, I would not have the Storage that I do now.
CBHD is every bit as good as HD Driver, and maybe better actually, but its German, so whether this guy speaks the lingo I dont know, but if he does, I would recommend that before HD Driver any day.
Anyway, I have pretty much said all of this earlier, so I will stop it there!
