So then the ST (and I think the Amiga too) have a 32 bit OS and run 32 bit applications and yet it is a 16 bit machine, this is bacause it uses 32 bit instruction to do this?

The TT was a 32 bit machine but the only different was a 32 bit bus no, the CPU was not placed into some kind off "compatble mode" like other brands of machine.

I think I may be repeating my self.
