I am afraid thats it mate!

Both PARCP, and PARALINK need a special cable, which can be built up for next to nothing, and its very fast for what it is!

You are going to have to do this, or use a Serial ( Null Modem ) Cable with some other software ( GhostLink is good ) if you want to go the cheap way.

Thats the choices though!

The only other options you have, are proper networking, and there you have a choice, that if you go for the cheap option, it will be awkward to setup, and slow when it goes right ( Serial again ) or full-on Ethernet type which is very expensive - especially if you only want to do a few things now and again!

Why not do what I used to do?

Just use a whole Hard Drive, and chuck the files you want transfering, onto that, and plonk it into the other machine!

You will of course need an IDE drive adapter, as the Falcon is 2.5, while standard IDE is 3.5 but they are only a couple of quid!

Worth thinking about I recon!
