No, I cannot see that as being a problem.
Ok, just in case... Copy your Hard Disk Driver Software, to Floppy, and make sure its a good copy.
Now, if oyu have HD Driver, then you are laughing, because you can assign any partition that it boots from.
Just alter the option for the device that it boots from, and also, as an experiment, you can also tell it to only search for device 6 and 7, so the HD will be ignored, and as long as you install HD Driver to the ZIP Disk, everything will most likely boot up from the ZIP Drive!.
Maybe if you also uninstall HD Driver from the HD too, just in case, and you will definitely know then wont you?
Actually, my ZIP Drive, has a small switch, which is also a terminator, so have a look if yours has too! - Many SCSI Devices ( But not all ) do actually have a termination switch, or jumper, so its always worth checking.
