They way you say "Sourced" and "Copy" suggests to me, that you simply have just that!
CuBase, and if my memory serves me ( No it does'nt, but.. ) Notator, both require what is known as a dongle!
This is a special cartridge, that fits in the erm, cartridge port and acts like a key.
Neither program will run without it.
I would say that is the problem, because CuBase should run ok on 1MB - But, I would also suggest, that if you intend on using it, then upgrade your memory anyway.
