Probably these two items are set to the same ACSI ID nr?
Happened to me once, had both the scanner and harddrive G: set to SCSI ID 4, on the Falc. When the HD was powered, it worked fine but the scanner behaved jerky. Unplugged HD power, and the scanner was fine...
Solution:
Guess your STE boots from the HD, so let it remain ACSI 0, and try to change ID on the Mplex. How to do that, should be found in the instructions. Canīt do it from CBHD or AHDI, but there should be some jumpers or a switch on or in the Mplexer.
BTW, IF thatīs not the fault: Beats me! ;)
