I had the same problem with my jag cd.. i found out the problem that causes most of
them to stop spinning...

it's pretty simple really..

the bit that holds the cd's on the spindle,
the light grey thingy sometimes gets pushed
down too far.. it happens when you put a
cd onto it and push just a bit too hard.
it then rubs on the motor housing causing
that annoying noise and in most cases
stopping it from spinning.

simply take the jag cd player apart and
using a small screwdriver between the
motor housing and grey thingy lift it back up..dont use too much force though..

hopefully this will cure your broken jag
cd, if not then it's something else a bit
more serious!
