Hi,

basic message, is go for a G4 with Magic Mac. It's the most stable (rock steady) of all the Magic variants and all correctly written GEM programs will run on it, 10 to 20 or more times in full true colour faster than on an ST. I run a Milan at present and am going to change to G4/MagicMac myself. Magic PC is nowhere near so good. You'll find that some Atari progs. like Jinnee Desktop are better than anything on the Mac or PC. I strongly advise you to subscribe to the comp.sys.atari.st news group. It's free and you will find all your questions answered there.

Good Luck

Bob.
