Yeah great!

What, you have written a program, and you are asking about simply putting it into the P.D?

What PD Libraries are there that are still fully supporting Atari?

How is FaST Club? - I know that they are still going, but how well?

What about Steve's PD? - I know he has loads of Stuff!

If there is no actual PD Libraries going anymore, then perhaps its time for me to open up my collection of PD software for everyone? in which case, I will be very happy to upload whatever I can for anyone.

I knwo one thing that is for sure! - I have no intention of getting rid of my Atari's for anything, so I wont be leaving the atari scene!

Bugger it, I will start an Atari PD Library up... bugger, that means I will have to sort it out.... Nah! - there is too much stuff, it will take me months, and thats true! - I have so much stuff, that I never bother looking through it, if I know where something is, then great, otherwise I just do without it, or look for it on the net.

Anyway, I am going off the subject here.

The idea of PD is great, Shareware would give the programmers the edge to write the stuff, but its the higher priced stuff that we really need to be concentrating on I recon ( My own thoughts of course! ).

One Idea we could do, is to say, take a software title, and see what it does, then maybe if someone could write an equivalent of that software and release it, then we would be on our way, but of course, this would return us back to the thought, that if this did happen, the commercial buggers would not bother to write anything for us anymore, and we would be in a worse situation than ever!

However, there are already plenty of PD/Shareware programs that are very close to some commercial ones, so maybe a list of these would be in order?

The chances are though, that whoever needs a type of program already know this, and have one or the other, or even both, so what good is it?

I think then, perhaps a list maybe?

Someone wants a program, it needs to do this, and that, so he asks, and whatever inpiut we can give, which will point him to a program that would do the job, is about all we can do at first I think?

So, where next?
