I assume you're referring to the handlebars controller for the 2600 VCS and not the 1976 coin-op arcade game.
Visit an electronics store and purchase a Universal Power Adapter. You can adjust the voltage from 1.5v up to 12v, they have interchangable heads, and the polarity is adjustable. Check the sticker on the bottom of the Stunt Cycle for the power requirements and set the Universal Power Adapter accordingly.
If you're not sure what the power requirements are, find the right head, set the voltage low, try it, change the polarity. Keep increasing the voltage and changing the polarity until you find the right combination.
