The Panther was a 32 bit console developed by Atari. It was abandoned because of the Jaguar.
It is very doubtful that Hasbro will release a 128 bit console:
Hasbro bought Atari but most of their engineers (I think all of them) left the company before so who should develope a new console.
Atari would have no chance against Nintendo, Sega and Sony - and why should a game company develope for four systems?
So a new 128 bit console is really a rumour not more.
