There might be a problem with different realises of the machine such as would a ste power adapter work in a stf aaannnddd so on, would be safer to pop down maplins and get a step down converter 240v/110v which would work fine, if you find a nice supply of falcons please let me know, and you said that you stripped down st's, i could do with a few parts if your wanting to get rid of them :)
