I would start by erasing everthing off the SH205 using original Atari AHDI software (let me know and I'll get you a copy) I've no idea if the SH205s work ok with newer software.
Dont think you can get a MFM/RLL to SCSI adapter they might of done them once but it would be very difficult to get hold of.
I have an old Seagate 5.25" 40Mb RLL drive with wide and narrow cables from a PC for sale which I think will work in the SH/Megafile boxes, if you are interested. I think the Megafiles take two drives.
With your Mega/STE, you might be able to put two slimline hard disks in if modify the bracket, but the extra wattage may kill your power supply. I would try this:
1/ buy a modern big SCSI drive for you Mega/STE
2/ get a 3 headed (or more) SCSI cable
3/ get power supply from a scrap PC
4/ undo the HD trap door and rig the Mega/STE to your old hard disk and the new drive. Attach the new drive with the PC power supply.
5/ copy everything from the old drive the new drive and fit the new drive back in the computer and put back together and sell/bin your old drive :o)
Save having to do a horrible recase of your Mega/STE then, its a beautiful computer and should be kept original dont recase it!! mine has a 1.2Gb Seagate. :o)
