Like Chris has said, it does not really matter what mix of RAM you have, ST or TT mine does not seem to care, and as far as it goes, its just the one block!
I am running everything in TT RAM myself, and I have not had any problems at all, but I will see if I get any difference when I use STRAM for the Kernel, although because its already rock-solid, I cannot check if its any more stable really? - maybe if its less so?
Good thought about DOOM Though?
Spud-U-Like Linux on my TT setup the graphics great, so perhaps Doom would play nicer?
I will have to check that out myself, so, I will get hold of it and get back to you on that! ( I know a mate who has it )
