As long as it's not the new NTL broadband service, that will be fine.
I advise you to use a PC to setup your account, as this will be faster and easier. You can then steal the important details from the PC - the dial-up number and host type (usuaully PPP) and the DHCP server address, unless you ask for a static IP address. Pass these details to your dial-up stack (STinG, STiK, MiNTnet) and that's all you need to get on the internet. You'll need a browser of course...
