Author: LaTeX (mail.ase2i.fr) Date: 07-06-2001 13:03 Hi! I got a Mega STE (TOS 2.06) that contains (nativly) a seagate 48Mo SCSI Hard drive. I have got two partitions on it but i do not remember if it was forced to be so or not, because I did want to get two partitions anyway. I tryed once to plug an old 100Mo SCSI hard drive I found instead. But it did not work at all. I only got the Atari Hard driver tool sold with the machine. Maybe my new hard drive was not recognise. So I did use the 100Mo hard drive on a PC and re-formated it with Windows 2000 with a FAT32 format. The hard drive is working correctly for Windows. Could somebody tell me if some kind of SCSI hard drives are not working at all with native TOS 2.06 and Atari tools or if any SCSI hard drive should work (regardless of their size) ? Should I make a new try ? Thanks !
