The Atari Jaguar is quite a powerfull console (OK not as powerfull as say a PS2 or XBox). 64 Bit RISC architecture with a 26.5 Mhz processor isnt exactly slow in comparison to say a Kodak Digita Digital Camera, which has a version of MAME (MAMED) developed for it. It even has DOOM, as does the Jag.
Yes, granted, it would take a decent programmer some time to develop it, but I think it would definately possible.
Now all we need is a decent programmer with loads of spare time and an interest in Atari Jaguars!
