HI !
When you want to open an Atari machine, the only screws you have to remove are those in the square holes.
Some of the screws (one of them at least) are hiden under a seal which you have to remove. The seal is just a stick, there to indicate the machine was never opened before. But I imagine the warranty is not in action since ages ! ;-)
I suppose you did not remove the middle screws under the seal. (Atari sigle is written on the seal)
Your floppy drive remain still because of one of the screw I suppose you did not need to remove (non-square hole if my memory is not so bad).
When you'll want to close your machine back, remember that most of the screws are directly screwed on plastic. So DO NOT SCREW THEM TIGHT !!! other case the screws will get loosen (loosed ?) for ever...
If it is not a problem of hiden screws, I am sorry but I can't help you more...
