The TT has exactly the same sound system as the STE, DMA based playback at up to 50KHz. It doesn't have the STE's blitter though, so some STE games don't work (SubStation springs to mind, although for some reason it works on FatRakoon's TT? We've already been there though)

That's why the TT has stereo RCA jacks on the back.
