I's suggest to boot from floppy, while holding control (or was it alt ?).
Anyway, the idea is to boot from floppy, while the harddisk is powered on, so you load the harddiskdriver from the floppy.
You can then tru to add the drives again, and see if they are okay. If they are, you just have to install the driver again with the programs on the driver disk.
(i.e. when using hddriver just use the 'install driver' option from the menu bar)
