Hi,

Just search for the lines RD4 and RD5 on your MNU chip inside the XL/XE and disconnect it, put a dual-switch between the lines and the board now you can enable/disable the cartridge port. Now make a program that disables the OS and copies the cartridge data to lower RAM and then disable the RAM and save it to disk...

I saw someone from Czech republik who made such software...
