OK, I have fixed some ataris and this is what usualy happens:
1. It joust need to be cleaned, so open it and clean it with a circuit cleaning spray than you can buy on radioShack, be careful in not to clean the plastic case with this spray.
2. The power supply doesn't work, buy a new one, 9v DC, 500 mA (for 2600).
3. Controls doesn't work, you can rebuild a control with parts of many controls.
