Well, your ST has a little desease which is
easy to cure, just a little costly. ;-)
Get an SCSI-hostadapter, like for example
LINK'97 from WB-System or a used one from
ebay will do just fine. Then get a SCSI box
or an old PC case and forget the Supra 20
drive. Now put an old SCSI-disk and your CD-
ROM into it.
Now download a little software: MetaDOS for
the CD-ROM and HDX for setting up the hard-
disk. If you want better software, you might
want to buy HDDriver by Uwe Seimet and maybe
Extendos Pro from Anodyne.
This will get your Mega ST into ship-shape
easily and reliably and you'll never have to
worry about connecting a CD-Recorder, more
harddisks, a ZIP-drive or whatever you might
want to add later on.
Now you can install MagiC easily, or MiNT
if you prefer.
