Just a little input on the sound issue:

I'm still evaluating the latest version of STeem 1.4 - Generally speaking, I would have started this eval of STeem (or any other emulator) on my Win-ME PIII for faster performance (800Mhz), but I downloaded it originally to a Win-98 PII at 233Mhz. Sound is the biggest issue right now, and I have tried all combinations of settings, but still get that "muffled" sound, which is a real shame.

I haven't upgraded to DX-8 yet, so I'm not sure what the issue is???

Anyway, its all part of development, and a learning curve for the programmers, for whom I have the gratest respect.
