I agree very much with Atari forums offering a warmer feel than any of the others, however, with PC forums, I have found that if they think you are a novice, they dont give a toss about you, but when they think you know it, they do in fact welcome you!
This is only on SOME forums though.
The same does apply with Amiga forums to a point too!
When I offered to swap a pair of 1400 Amigas and a 2000 tower, for a Falcon, they were crawling around me like worms on a dogs arse!
At the end of the day though, we as ATARI users, need to keep together, we need to help out if we can, whenever we can, and we need to make newbies feel at home as much as possible, we also need to make sure that if we know somethign that somebody does not, that we do not scare them off by either blabbing too much ( My problem ) or taking the piss ( Which I have seen FAR TOO MUCH OF FROM MANY OF US IN HERE over the years )
We need to stick together and build on what we have, and we will soon see that the whole community will be a very good one. Small, but its better to have a little bit of quality, than to have tons of absolute bollocks ( I.E PC Shyte you always see these days )
I will now finish on one of those horrible quotes that I hate so much
LONG LIVE ATARI
Yeah right.
