Author: Matt Smith (host212-140-156-142.host.btclick.com) Date: 01-20-2001 00:37 i managed to sort out the steem v 1.4 sound by turning off my sound cards directsound driver support,it's now emulated, and it's working fine. I have a factory fitted sound card (riptide) but i can't say it would work on other sound cards. give it a try it might help.
