Falcon boot in this order:

Floppy
IDE
SCSI

And floppyboot is only working if you have an executable bootsector or no harddisk connected.

Installing HDDRIVER on your C: with hddriverutil should do it (read the manual, it has exact instructions with illustrations).

If it doesn't boot from the IDE, then I'm wondering maybe you are running the IDE as "slave" and not as primary drive ?
